November 10

On this day in 1967, the Moody Blues released “Nights In White Satin” as a single for the first time. It did ok in their home country, but it wouldn’t become a US until 1972.

Today in 1986, after years of building his reputation for legendary live shows, Bruce Springsteen finally released an official live album: the 5 LP “Live 1975-1985”

And Greg Lake, former guitarist, bassist and vocalist for Emerson, Lake and Palmer, would have been 73 today.
