In 1968, The Rolling Stones scored their 5th #1 single in America with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” named after Keith Richards’ gardener, Jack Dyer, who worked at the country house where he and Jagger wrote the song.
And the first single from Queen came out today in 1973, “Keep Yourself Alive.”
