On this day in 1975, it was another risky day to be Alice Cooper. During a show in Vancouver on his “Welcome to My Nightmare” tour, Alice fell off the stage and broke six ribs.
Today in 1976, Paul McCartney and Wings completed their Wings Over America tour at the LA Forum. Two days earlier at the same venue, Ringo stepped on stage during the band’s final number and presented Paul with flowers for his birthday.
And today in 1979, Supertramp’s album, “Breakfast in America” was on top of the U.S. charts. The band’s biggest seller, it featured hits like “The Logical Song” and “Take the Long Way Home.
