On this day in 1969 Atco Records released the first and only album by the short-lived supergroup Blind Faith. Members Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Rick Grech felt the pressure to be a ‘supergroup’ caused them to split after their first tour.  

In 1968, The Jeff Beck Group, featuring Rod Stewart on vocals and Ron Wood on bass, made it’s US live debut at New York’s Fillmore East. X 

And Happy Birthday to musician, songwriter and producer Todd Rundgren, who turns 74 today.
