This day in 1975 was a big day for Sir Elton John; he was honored with his own star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. So many fans showed up, the police were forced to close down neighboring streets to keep more people from coming.
On this day in 1976, Keith Moon played his last North American show with the Who when the band wrapped up a year-long tour at Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens.
