Today in 1972, Frank Zappa’s concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall was canceled due to ”Obscene lyrics” in “200 Motels,” which Zappa planned to premiere that night.
On this day in 1969, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Steve Winwood announced they were forming a new “supergroup,” Blind Faith. The band would only last through a single album and US Tour.
