In 1995, The Beatles’ “Anthology 1,” the first in a series of unreleased and rare tracks, hit stores. It sold over 800 thousand copies in its first week.  

Jimi Hendrix had his only #1 on the British singles charts today in 1970 with “Voodoo Child (Slight Return),” the final track on Electric Ladyland, just two months after he passed away.
