Happy Birthday to Bob Seger. The Silver Bullet Band leader and Rock and Roll Hall of famer is 76  

In 1965, in a hotel room in Clearwater, Florida, Keith Richards created a guitar riff that would become legendary. While messing around with a brand new fuzz box, he came up with the opening riff for the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.”  

Spinal Tap, the parody heavy metal band from Rob Reiner’s film, “This Is Spinal Tap,” played their first actual concert on this day in 1984 at CBGB’s in New York.
