Today in 1972, the Doobie Brothers released “Listen To The Music,” the first single from their second album, “Toulouse (two LOSE) Street.” It would be their first top 20 hit.
In 1967, The Doors recorded their first demos at World Pacific Jazz Studios in L.A., doing six songs, including “Moonlight Drive” and “Hello, I Love You.”
And today in 1988, the “Human Rights Now!” world tour began at Wembley Stadium in London. Sting, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen and others did 20 shows, raising money and awareness for Amnesty International.
