Today in 1968, a capacity crowd filled London’s Royal Albert Hall to see Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce play as Cream for the last time. They wouldn’t do a full concert again until 2005.  

The movie “Rockshow,” starring Paul McCartney and Wings, premiered in New York City in 1980. The concert film contained 30 songs from their 1976 “Wings Over America” tour.  

And Happy Birthday to Fleetwood Mac founder and bass player John McVie, who turns 75.
