On this day in 1973, the rock ensemble ‘Rree’, who had the hit song “All Right Now”, play their final show at Florida’s Hollywood Sportatorium. Vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke will move on to form Bad Company with Mott the Hoople’s Mick Ralphs.
Today in 1981, Eric Clapton releases his seventh solo album, ‘Another Ticket’. It included the hit single “I Can’t Stand It.”
And celebrating birthday #51 is Billy Joe Armstrong, lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter for Green Day.
