On this day in 1968, John Lennon and George Harrison fly to India to study meditation with Maharishi.   Paul and Ringo joined a few days later.  Dduring their stay, they would write most of the songs for “The White Album”.  

Today in 1975, Rush release ‘Fly By Night’, their second album and the first with new drummer/lyricist Neil Peart, whose influence moves the band closer to the progressive styling that eventually makes Rush a legend of the genre.  

And in 1965, The Beatles release “Eight Days a Week.”  The title was originally planned for the movie that became ‘Help!’
