Led Zeppelin released their fourth album today in 1971. Known as “Led Zeppelin Four” or “ZO SO,” the officially ‘untitled’ LP has classics like “Black Dog” and “Stairway To Heaven.”
“Something,” the first Beatles A-Side written by George Harrison, entered the singles chart on this day in 1969, on its way to #1 in the U.S.
And in 1975, David Bowie made his US primetime television debut, singing “Fame” on Cher’s CBS variety show.
