Today in 1967 The Beatles released their classic, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band” album. It also debuted on CD today in 1988.  

Today in 1972, Pink Floyd started recording their masterpiece, “Dark Side of the Moon” at Abbey Road Studios—the same place the Beatles did Sgt. Pepper.  

And in 1975 Ron Wood started on his first tour with the Rolling Stones, also their biggest US tour up to that time. Plus, it’s Ronnie’s birthday, too; he turns 75.
