In 1988, Bon Jovi kicked off a 232-date world tour in Dublin, Ireland. The bands “New Jersey Syndicate Tour” ran all the way until February 1990.
One of rock history’s legendary tours, Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue, began in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on this day in 1975. The eclectic lineup included Joan Baez, T-Bone Burnett, and former Bowie guitarist Mick Ronson.
And Happy Birthday to Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. Grace turns 81 today.
