In 1978, KISS made their acting debut in “Kiss Meets The Phantom Of The Park.” The Hanna-Barbera produced TV movie isn’t a band favorite, but it’s gained a cult following with some of the KISS Army.
In 1972, The World Affairs Councils Of America announced their official theme would be The Who’s latest single, “Join Together.”
On this day in 1961, Liverpool record shop owner Brian Epstein (EP-stine) was asked for the single, “My Bonnie,” by Tony Sheridan and the Beatles. Since no one had ever asked for anything by a Liverpool group, he went to see them live. He’d be their manager shortly after that.
