Mick Fleetwood filed for bankruptcy on this day in 1984. Even though Fleetwood Mac had sold tens of millions of albums worldwide, a series of bad investments had put him deeply in debt.  

In 1976, Led Zeppelin started a two-week run at the top of the US album charts with “Presence”, their fifth #1.  

On this day in 1975, The Rolling Stones played live on the back of a flatbed truck as it drove down 5th Avenue in New York City. It was their way of announcing their 1975 North American Tour.
