Happy birthday to the powerful voice of The Who, Roger Daltrey, who’s turning 78
In 1969, Doors’ singer Jim Morrison was arrested for indecent exposure onstage in Miami. He’d be convicted of the crime later, but it was under appeal when he died. Drummer John Densmore and other eyewitnesses maintain he was innocent.
In 1975, The Eagles hit #1 on the on the pop charts in the US and Canada with “Best Of My Love” from their “On The Border” album.
