In 1977 Rolling Stone Keith Richards was arrested in Toronto for heroin possession. The penalty would be 7 years to life if it happened to you or me. Keith got off a bit easier: a year’s probation and a benefit concert.  

Paul McCartney’s first single as a solo artist hit the British charts on this day in 1971, called “Another Day.”  

And on this day in 1954, Journey guitarist Neal Schon was born, which means he celebrates his 68th.
