On this day in 1983, Ozzy Osbourne was rushed to a hospital for rabies shots immediately after a concert in Des Moines, Iowa. He took a bite of what he thought was a rubber bat thrown on stage, but it was real. Ozzy canceled several concerts while doctors kept him under observation.

The 3rd annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony was held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City today in 1988. Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys were some of the inductees.

And this day in 1952, KISS co-founder Paul Stanley was born which makes him 70 years old.
