The Who took on a new member on this day in 1978 . . . former Faces drummer Kenny Jones became the permanent replacement for the late Keith Moon. Kenny made his official Who debut on the “Quadrophenia” movie soundtrack album. 

On this day in 1976, Bob Seger’s “Live Bullet” went gold. The LP featured live versions of “Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man,” “Katmandu,” and “Turn the Page.”  

And happy birthday to Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is 73 today
