Today in Rock History with Chris DeCarlo

December 2 |

On this day in 1973, The Who and some of their entourage spent the night in jail in Montreal. After their show at the Forum, they did $6000 worth of damage to their hotel.

A dozen years later in 1985, The Who’s Roger Daltrey played his first solo concert. He took the stage in Passaic, New Jersey, to kick off the tour for his album, “Under A Raging Moon.”

And today is birthday number 61 for Rick Savage, bassist of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Def Leppard.
