Today in Rock History with Chris DeCarlo

November 22 |

Today in 1986, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble started their 2-year long “Live Alive” Tour in Towson, Maryland. It was the first show after Stevie became sober.

Today in 1968,  The Beatles rebelled against the psychedelic movement they’d help create. Their new double LP, called simply “The Beatles,” had a blank cover stamped with a serial number. Most of us call it, “The White Album.”

And happy birthday to E-Street Band guitarist and actor ‘Little Steven’ Van Zant, who turns 71 today.
