Led Zeppelin made their US TV debut today in 1976 on Don Kirshner’s “Rock Concert.” However, the performances were only clips from their film, “The Song Remains the Same,” released a few days earlier.

In 1966, The Jimi Hendrix Experience recorded their first single, “Hey Joe” at De Lane Lea Studios in London.

And today in 1963, Bob Dylan recorded his classic anthem, “The Times They Are A-Changin’” at Columbia Studios in New York.
