In 1968, Led Zeppelin entered the studio to record their debut album at Olympic Studios in London. They’d rented the studio as “The Yardbirds.”
In 1976, AC/DC released “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” in their home country. Their US label rejected it, almost dropping the band. When it finally hit America in 1981, it sold over six million copies.
And in 1980, Queen scored their only US #1 album when ‘The Game’ started a five-week run at the top of the charts.
