In 1986, Def Leppard played the Monsters of Rock festival in the UK, their first gig with drummer Rick Allen after he lost his arm in a car accident.
Today in 1969, The Beatles put the finishing touches on “I Want You (She’s So Heavy),” and worked on the final song order for the Abbey Road album. It was the last time all four band members were together in the studio.
