Tragedy struck today in 1975 when Robert Plant and his family were in a car accident in Greece. It took almost two years for him to fully recover. He would record the vocal tracks for Led Zeppelin’s next album, “Presence,” from his wheelchair.
In 1962, The Rollin’ Stones, as they were called at the time, played the first of 22 weekly gigs at the Ealing Jazz Club in London.
And in 1980, Pink Floyd played “The Wall” in its entirety at “Earl’s Court” in London, the first of six nights at the venue.
