Today in 1977, Elton John became the first musician to be honored in Madison Square Garden’s “Hall Of Fame.” Before that, the hall was filled with famous athletes.
“Abbey Road,” the last LP The Beatles recorded, was released in the U.S. on this day in 1969. With favorites like “Come Together,” and “Here Comes The Sun” it remains one of their most popular albums.
