The Rolling Stones album “Bridges To Babylon” came out on this day in 1997, with a surprising co-writer credit on the song “Has Anybody Seen My Baby” — k.d. lang. She was added when they realized the chorus was the same as lang’s 1992 hit “Constant Craving”.

On this day in 1989, Aerosmith’s “Pump” LP entered the chart. It features the hits “Love In An Elevator,” “Janie’s Got A Gun” and “What It Takes.”

And the late T-Rex leader Marc Bolan was born this day in 1948.
