Happy Birthday to the only member of ZZ Top without a beard: drummer Frank Beard who’s 72  

In 1968, The Rolling Stones were in Olympic Studios in London putting the finishing touches on their “Beggar’s Banquet” album when a fire broke out. Everyone got out safely, but the recording was delayed.  

Paul McCartney and Wings’ new album “Red Rose Speedway,” was #1 on the album charts today in 1973, replacing “The Beatles 1967 thru 1970.”
