The Bob Dylan film “Don’t Look Back” premiered on this day in 1967 in San Francisco. This had the famous scene where an audience member shouted “Judas” at Dylan for going electric, which happened in England exactly one year earlier.

In 1975, Elton John earned a Platinum Record for his “Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy”—the first time it ever happened on the same day an album was released.

And Birthday greetings go out to Bill Bruford, former drummer of Yes and King Crimson, who celebrates his 72nd.
