On this day in 1971, Pink Floyd played an outdoor concert at London’s Crystal Palace Bowl, in front of a large lake. The local paper reported that the show was so loud it killed most of the fish.  

On this day in 1965, Bob Dylan’s single ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ peaked at No.39 on the US charts, giving Dylan his first US top 40 hit.  

And at #1 on the album charts were the Rolling Stones’ “Black & Blue” in 1976 and the self–titled debut from Asia in 1982.
