It’s Eric Clapton’s birthday!  The only three-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is 76. 

Today in 1968, The Yardbirds, featuring Jimmy Page, recorded their show at the Anderson Theater in New York. Three years later, after Page became famous with Led Zeppelin, it got released against his wishes. It was pulled from stores when he threatened to sue.  

Today in 1967, The Beatles went to Chelsea Manor Studios in London for the photo session that became the cover of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”
