Today in 1969, Led Zeppelin played the Bluesville 69 Club in London, a room so small, only John Bonham’s drums could fit on the tiny stage.  

In 1987, the first four Beatles albums made their debut on CD. Since they were based on the original British releases, they were only available in mono.  

And happy birthday to the founding frontman of the J.Geils Band, Peter Wolf, who turns 75.
