Is it or is it not the day George Harrison was born?  George Harrison was born today—or so he thought. The Quiet Beatle learned late in his life that he was actually born ten minutes before midnight yesterday in 1943. 

In 1984 Van Halen hit #1 on the American Singles charts for the first time in their career with “Jump.”  

In 1972, Led Zeppelin played their first ever gig in New Zealand. At the time, the 25,000 fans were the largest concert crowd ever on the island. People reported they could hear the band up to five miles away.
