On this day in 1965, The Beatles began filming their follow up to “A Hard Day’s Night” on location in the Bahamas. The working title was “Eight Arms to Hold You,” but just after it was finished, the title was changed to “Help!”  

The 20th annual Grammy Awards took place on this day in 1978. Fleetwood Mac won “Album of the Year” for “Rumours,” and the Eagles’ “Hotel California” was named “Record of the Year.”  

And born on this day, Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, who turns 69.
