City of Belleview Invites Public to Attend 2025 Freedom Walk Auto Draft

The City of Belleview will host its annual Freedom Walk on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Belleview Community Center. The event honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while recognizing the courage of first responders, military members, and all who serve to protect our freedoms. Community members are invited to join in reflection, remembrance, and unity as the evening concludes with a walk through Lake Lillian Park.

Marion County Traffic Stop Leads to Fentanyl and Cocaine Arrest

What started as a simple seatbelt violation quickly escalated into a major drug bust. A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over 44-year-old Andre Jerod Roundtree on NW Blitchton Road and uncovered multiple baggies of fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana, along with $1,667 in cash.

Coinciding with International Overdose Awareness Day, the event honors lives lost to addiction while offering hope, support, and awareness for prevention and recovery.
