OCALA, FL (352today.com) – As hurricane season approaches, World Equestrian Center – Ocala is ready to support the equine community by providing stalls for horses evacuating from storm-affected areas. While the hope is for a calm season, the center is committed to assisting when needed.

This year, the process for stall requests has been streamlined to ensure a quick and efficient response during severe weather events.

  • New Request Process: All hurricane and severe weather stall requests must now be submitted through the official request form at hurricanestalls.wec.net.
  • Activation: The form will only be available if a storm is predicted to impact Florida.
  • Availability: Stall availability is not guaranteed and will be prioritized based on the projected impact zones of the storm.
