Temporary road closures continue in Silver Springs Shores for septic-to-sewer project

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Motorists can expect temporary road closures on the roads listed below:

  • Water Course from Pine Run to Spring Pass, COMPLETE
  • Bahia Road from Pine Run to Bahia Court Way, extended through July 7th  
  • Bahia Court Track from Bahia Rd to Bahia Court Way, extended through July 7th
  • Bahia Circle S to Bahia Circle Trail from Bahia Rd to Pine Rd, COMPLETE 
  • Bahia Circle to Bahia Circle Drive from Bahia Rd to Silver Rd, COMPLETE
  • Bahia Trail from Bahia Rd to Bahia Circle Run, COMPLETE
  • Bahia Circle Run from Bahia Rd to north end of Bahia Circle, COMPLETE
  • Bahia Drive from Bahia Rd to end of roadway, COMPLETE
  • Water Road from Bahia Rd to Spring Rd, from March 31st extended through August 27th
  • Water Pass from Pine Run to Water Rd, COMPLETE
  • Water Trace from Pine Rd to Water Rd, from March 31st extended through August 27th
  • Water Track from Pine Run to Water Rd, from March 31st extended through August 27th
  • Pine Run from Pine Rd to Bahia Rd, COMPLETE
  • Pine Radial Run from Pine Rd to Water Track, from April 25th extended through August 29th
  • Cedar Rd from Cedar Circle to Pine Rd, through August 29th
  • Pine Rd from Pine Pl to Pine Terrace Way, through October 31st (being done in sections)
  • Pine Rd and Spring Rd Intersection from SE Maricamp Rd, through July 18th
  • Pine Rd from Pine Run to Spring Rd, through August 29th

Marion Rock Construction and Commercial Industrial Corp., will be installing watermain, gravity sewer, sewer forcemain, and restoring the roadway, as part of a Marion County Utilities project, Silver Springs Shores Septic to Sewer Project Phases I and II. Equipment and personnel will be in the County right-of-way.

Crews will place barricades and signs directing traffic through the work zone. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes, when possible. Adverse weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
