OCALA FL. (352 Today) The Marion County Office of the County Engineer, in coordination with its contractor, will begin pavement preservation work along Buena Vista Boulevard beginning Tuesday, Aug. 13, with completion expected by Wednesday, Aug. 14, weather permitting.
The project area extends along Buena Vista Boulevard from County Road 42 to the Marion County Line. Crews and equipment will be on site between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Temporary single lane closures will be in place throughout the corridor to allow for safe and efficient operations.
The purpose of this project is to apply a pavement preservation treatment designed to extend the life of the existing roadway surface and maintain road quality for residents and travelers.
Crews will place barricades and signs directing traffic through the work zone. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes, when possible. Adverse weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules. Motorists are encouraged to plan for potential delays and drive with caution through the work zone.
