OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Florida Highway Patrol has arrested 31-year-old Enmanuel Coto-Rosales in connection with the hit-and-run crash involving a Marion County school bus on April 13.

On Friday, April 17, troopers located and took Coto-Rosales into custody. He is facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries and property damage, along with additional related hit-and-run charges.

Coto-Rosales was released on bond Sunday afternoon. No additional details have been released.

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The alleged perpetrator in a hit-and-run crash involving a Marion County school bus earlier this week has been located and arrested, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

On Friday, Apr. 17, 2026, troopers identified and took the driver of the pickup truck into custody. The individual faces charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries and property damage.

Authorities said the arrest comes days after a pickup truck struck a Marion County Public Schools bus from behind Monday, Apr. 13, while it was stopped on SE 145th St. to pick up students. The driver fled the scene following the crash.

There were 54 students on board the bus at the time. Five students were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No additional details about the suspect have been released.
