Utility crews to conduct smoke testing July 28–29

City of Wildwood personnel will be conducting smoke testing Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, July 29, on a utility main in two residential neighborhoods: The Cottages at Wildwood and Wildwood Landings.

Testing helps identify system leaks

The testing is expected to last one to two days and is designed to identify potential leaks in the underground utility system. During this process, residents may see smoke rising from the ground or other parts of the utility infrastructure. This is a normal part of the testing procedure and not a cause for concern.
