BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview is proud to announce that Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for two impactful organizations, Sheltering Hands, Inc. and Arnette House, Inc. These organizations, each with a longstanding history of serving the local community, will benefit from Vass’s passion for community engagement and experiences.

Sheltering Hands, Inc. is dedicated to improving the welfare of cats and strengthening the human-animal bond through various programs, including affordable spay/neuter services, fostering, and adoption initiatives. The organization’s “Love for a Lifetime” program specifically helps senior cats find safe, loving homes for their golden years. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, Sheltering Hands has become a vital resource in the community, rescuing and rehoming hundreds of cats each year while promoting education on responsible pet ownership.

Arnette House, Inc. has been a cornerstone of support for youth and families in crisis for over 40 years. Through emergency shelter services, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, long-term group homes for youth in the foster care system, and outreach programs, Arnette House offers hope and stability to those facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances. Their mission is to stabilize, reunify, and strengthen families, providing a safe haven and tools for young people to thrive.

Robert Vass expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Boards of Directors for these organizations: “Being appointed to the boards of Sheltering Hands and Arnette House is an honor that I deeply cherish. Both organizations address critical needs within our community—one by ensuring that animals are cared for and loved, and the other by giving youth and families in crisis a chance to heal and rebuild. I’ve always believed that a strong community is one that lifts up its most vulnerable, and I look forward to contributing my skills and energy to furthering the missions of both organizations. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for animals and people alike.”
