OCALA, FL (352Today.com) – This Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, Ocala’s Downtown Historic Square will play host to one of the hundreds of “No Kings” events across the country organized by various progressive coalitions in protest of U.S. President Donald Trump’s leadership and policies.

The organizers of Ocala’s “No Kings” protest–one of more than 80 in the State of Florida alone–have secured various safety elements for the event, including chain-link fencing separating pedestrians from traffic on State Road 40 and, reportedly, an increased police presence. The protest will run from 9-11 a.m. Upon the protest’s conclusion, a celebration of Florida’s “open carry” gun law will begin immediately.

This is the second large-scale “No Kings” protest to be held in Ocala since the beginning of summer. A protester and two counterprotesters were arrested at the previous event in June.
