OCALA FL. (352 Today) – The Ocala Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a vandalism incident that occurred Friday, Aug. 23, inside the Downtown Ocala parking garage.
According to investigators, the unidentified individual damaged multiple vehicles parked in the facility. The department has not yet released the number of vehicles affected or the extent of the damage, but the incident has prompted an active investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Officer C. Cuppy at 352-369-7000. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Marion County by calling 352-368-STOP (7867) or **TIPS. Tips may also be submitted online at OcalaCrimeStoppers.com.
If the information provided through Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, the tipster may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
