BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – A pedestrian was struck and killed on the night of Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, while reportedly walking along County Road 484 near the intersection of SW 47th Ave. in Belleview.
According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a 47-year-old woman traveling eastbound on CR 484 was unable to see the male pedestrian crossing the road northbound just east of SW 47th Ave. and struck him with her vehicle at approximately 8:30 p.m. The driver remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
