OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Bridgewater Park will host an impactful community event, “It Takes a Village… Panel Discussion & Book Launch,” on Thursday, March 12, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The evening will focus on the realities of dementia, downsizing, and the collaborative care required to support an aging population.

The event will feature a professionally moderated panel of respected industry leaders, including a senior real estate specialist, executive director, registered nurses, a dementia care practitioner, and an elder law attorney. Together, the panelists will discuss practical and emotional aspects of aging, assisted living, memory care, and navigating clinical and legal considerations for seniors and their families.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will participate in an open Q&A session and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind “The Dementia Downsizing Guide: Honoring Memories While Moving Forward,” authored by David Culbreth. The book offers compassionate, practical guidance for families facing the challenges of dementia-related transitions.
