OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Pamela Reed has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Ocala. The 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 2275 SW 22nd Lane in Ocala, Florida. The hospital serves patients recovering from a life-changing illness or injury.

Reed brings more than 30 years of nursing, operational and executive leadership experience across acute and post-acute health care settings. She has held various leadership roles, including market CEO and chief clinical officer, within nationally recognized health care systems. Reed has a proven track record of driving high-quality patient care, strengthening clinical teams and streamlining operations.

Reed holds a Master of Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain.
Encompass Health Ocala opened to patients in 2012. The hospital holds The Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Certification in Stroke and Hip Fracture Rehabilitation.
