ALACHUA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 42-year-old Ocoee woman was killed the night of Friday, May 29, 2026, in a single-vehicle ATV crash east of Waldo, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. May 30 on NE 145th Lane, east of NE 152nd Street.
According to FHP, the woman was operating an ATV eastbound on NE 145th Lane when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The report indicates she was not wearing a helmet. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
