Meet Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken at upcoming community safety forums

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken invites community members to a public information session to discuss the department’s mission, crime trends, and current safety initiatives.

The event will also include a Q&A segment, giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and share their concerns directly with Chief Balken.

The first session, scheduled for August 7, is open to residents living in the Northwest or Southwest quadrants of the city. A second session, for those in the Northeast or Southeast quadrants, will be held on August 14. An additional session for business owners is also in the works, with details to be announced soon.

All events will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Ocala Police Headquarters, located at 402 S. Pine Ave. Seating is limited.
